What is Vinyasa Yoga?

Vinyasa is about linking your breath (inhale, exhale) to a movement. Each movement is linked to form a pose. Each pose is linked to a series of poses. This FLOW can be slow, powerful, or somewhere in-between. 

Sometimes peak poses like tree are included in the class, but that isnt always the case. 

Regardless of the poses, what's happening inside is much more important. How often do you assign a breath to a movement? 

Probably not to often, most people haven't. After 60 minutes of yoga, imagine how much oxygen you've taken in compared to 60 minutes of anything else. Controlled breathes no panting! Well, the panting will fade away over time. q(≧▽≦q)
